Every stay includes 2 complimentary rounds per day at Callawassie Island Club's Tom Fazio-designed course, for two golfers. That's about $250 a day of golf, and the course is closed Mondays. Club rentals are available at the pro shop.
The club's 27 holes were named by Golf Digest among South Carolina's top courses (#27, 2021–22), and the house sits right on the course, overlooking the pond and the 9th tee.
Hilton Head is a short drive away
Hilton Head Island is under 60 minutes from the island. Day-trip for the beaches and bike trails, or for Harbour Town, home of the RBC Heritage, and come back to a quiet island and a deck at the end of the day.
Savannah is also under an hour, Beaufort is under 30 minutes, and Charleston is under 90.
